WordPress Daily Prompt – What Bores You?

Ambiguity bores me when it is used as a shield rather than a reflection. It often shows up dressed as depth or flexibility, but underneath it is a reluctance to choose, to name, or to be accountable.

There is a place for ambiguity. Not everything is ready to be defined. Some things need time, space, and gentle unfolding. Uncertainty can be honest when it is acknowledged as such.

What drains energy is strategic ambiguity. The kind that keeps options open at someone else’s expense. The kind that asks others to read between lines that were never meant to be clear.

Clarity is not aggression. It is a form of respect. Even when the answer is uncomfortable, it allows movement, dignity, and choice. And that will always be more engaging than being left to guess.
